Upstream….

Picked a Foxglove to paint, perfect colour and size. There were lots of new flowers out, Golden Rod and  Meadow Cranesbill being profuse here. 
The river is very low, only moving through the rapids, golden in the pools.
Lots of Sandpipers calling, heard Woodpeckers, Buzzard and all the Warblers.
Managed a dry walk, despite the forecast!
