Happy Birthday!

Our youngest is forty!

Andréa sent us this photo this morning and it looks a great start to his birthday! They are in France for three weeks. This evening we had a short FaceTime call which was wonderful.

I always remember my dad too today as he and Joff shared a birthday and Joff was so proud of that. Father’s Day as well and a day of many memories. Also a day to remember dear friends undergoing really tough times right now and for whom this Father’s Day will be particularly precious.

A lovely family service this morning and we went for a walk this afternoon which was good and necessary. Then a delicious roast pork dinner. A very quiet evening.
