Daisy

Happy Juneteenth Day. The original idea for today was to take a little time to enjoy the weekend, go for a hike or something, and then finish up my school work tomorrow and finally feel like summer has begun. My plan did not take into account the weather, which has been chilly, raw, and rainy all day. Not so bad though. I've lazed around the house and managed to get some work done after all. And I had plenty of time to mess around with some pictures of wet daisies I took out in the yard. I rather like being able to edit photos so they don't look like photos at all. Maybe if I could draw or paint better I'd find it boring, but I can't, so I've found this kind of thing to be very satisfying. One of these days I'd like to get some prints made and see how they turn out.
