Garden Snail

I am starting to experiment with macro and it's harder than I thought. If you focus on the snail the shell is blurry if you focus on the shell the snail is blurry. I can tell you how many shots I took of this little creature and I am still not sure how I feel about this one.... but I think the little snail felt pretty special. Please I would like some advice from those of you with macro experience.
