Adolescent Coal Tit

It's losing its greenish breast feathers, though they are still in evidence, and gaining its white cheeks and black cap. Still fluffy though and a sweet wee bird on the feeder.

What a glorious morning. I woke up with a start (maybe I'd been dreaming) about 06:40. I'd been pretty restless in the night but even so it felt like time to get up. It's actually quite a cool air but the sun was shining and the garden was in beautiful light. See the extra, which would probably have been my main had the coal tit not appeared.

No Monday childminding today. There's covid in my grandson' family as well as here so all in all we're not mixing households.
