Larking about

Despite not going to sleep til very late and waking early I didn’t feel too tired during the day. Did some prep in the morning whilst Kt was riding and T slept, then Mt&H and the wee ones arrived.
Luckily much nicer weather than yesterday and we all tucked into lunch then tumbled around a bit til I took Mx&AR to the play park and then for a walk to the wind turbine through the nature reserve. Lots of chat about how the world was made, super volcanoes, lion king, trolls, what’s inside reeds, ants, water surface tension, mummies (‘not the sort that look after children but the sort that are wrapped with toilet paper and have green glowing eyes’!), walking backwards with your eyes closed, and throwing stones in the river from the bridge….!
Back and watched some Moana, talking about plans for Norfolk next month and about home improvement/house buying projects and options.
Once they’d left T went to work and Kt and I had a quiet evening being edged off the sofa by Heston as we watched another murder and ate leftovers.
