Waiting for the bird

The new bird feeder has driven away the pigeons, herring gulls and magpies so now we only get small birds visiting and have stopped getting pigeon excrement on the patio which is a big bonus. We have dunnocks visiting and the occasional robin at the moment. The grasses have got caught up in the new stand which looks like a lamp post but will weather in time. The old one had rusted through.
