Summer skies
Our usual Monday morning sing. Good to be back after missing two weeks (me) even if neither of us are singing 100%.
After we headed over to Guiseley to M & S to do a shop. The skies were lovely whichever way you looked but it’s such a narrow road from Eldwick to Hawksworth that it’s difficult to stop for photographs.
We pulled into Dick Hudson’s, High Eldwick, for me to take this looking back down over Eldwick and Bingley in the Aire Valley below. In the other direction the clouds were very wispy but couldn’t get a good shot of those.
A bonus was discovering lovely dog rose bushes below the hedge in the foreground.
Had a coffee in Costa before coming home.
Looks like it’s summer at last which is a good thing as it’s midsummers day tomorrow! Chicken salad for tea!
Last night we were watching two badgers in the garden. I think they probably come most nights but we don’t often observe them. Unfortunately my attempts to photograph them failed!
