2731. St. Andrews
We took a day trip to St. Andrews today which involved getting a bus to Dundee then another one from there to St. Andrews. The buses worked out perfectly and we literally stepped off one and the other was there waiting on both the journeys, so it was very easy.
We haven’t been to St. Andrews in years so it was nice to go somewhere different for a change. I decided to take a packed lunch with us as it was such a lovely day…a bit cool first thing but it warmed up by mid-morning and we found a lovely sunny bench to sit on and eat our lunch before heading home.
Neither of us has tested positive for covid so it looks like we managed to dodge that one this time, but both of us have restarted wearing masks on public transport and in smaller indoor spaces. Cases in our area have risen by 43% in the past 7 days according to the official statistics, which may be an underestimate because free tests are no longer available to the general public, but we do have a stock of them at home and will keep testing twice weekly until they run out.
Hubby is feeling better than he was but it has been an awful virus which the GP is convinced is definitely not covid and I have had a much milder version of it so I’m feeling generally ok.
My youngest managed to get his final module application completed including applying for funding after a bit of a struggle to get into his account.
Relaxing at home with the patio doors again…its lovely…
