Four-spotted Chaser

It was far too nice a day not to go out for an early walk and we are glad that we did as by 11.30am we were melting in the sunshine. 
I was hoping for a nice shot of a reed warbler or a lapwing, but although we saw both, I wasn't happy with the few shots I managed. I should really have taken the macro lens as there were quite a lot of insects around, but at least the zoom allowed me to get this shot of the four-spotted chaser, the first I've seen this year.
