Blencathra
This is Blencathra or Saddleback, near Keswick. I decided to have a walk to a place I haven't been back to since the autumn. As you can see it was a great day. The water is called Tewitt Tarn and today there was a flock of geese, with goslings and swallows with their young skimming over the water hunting for insects. You would also see them dip down to the tarn and 'scoop' up water for a drink while still on the wing. There were plenty of damselflies and one or two dragonflies, sheep and lambs to be seen. It was quiet with only pleasant bleating from the lambs to disturb the peace. Any idea the name of the damselfly, please. The clouds are as you see them: no Photoshop involved.
