Loch Lomond

A beautiful warm sunny morning for a drive out to Loch Lomond. Parked at Milarrochy Bay and walked along a stretch of the West Highland Way to Cashel Forest then followed one of the woodland walks. Saw the Goosanders on the way past preening themselves on a rock, I’m not sure if they are two females or juvenile males, the RSPB book suggests they are similar, lovely tufty red-heads!
Back to the car to get the picnic and had lunch on the shore watching several groups of young people braving the cold waters of the loch for a swim, lots of squeals!
