Mono Monday - Weddings

That's me on the left in 1971, the only time I've ever been a bridesmaid, with friend Alison, who now lives in Tasmania.

It was Gill and David's wedding in Belmont and Hillhead Parish Church in Glasgow. The ceremony was conducted by the father of the bride, assisted by the father of the groom.

The reception was held in the St Enoch Hotel, which was demolished six years later - no connection! 

David died eighteen months before their 50th wedding anniversary in 2021.

Gill is still my bestie!
