I thought this was a flat walk!

A rare appearance by the gov as we were on the last mile of our walk today.
We caught the bus to Rosthwaite, had coffee and teacakes at Grange, lunch beside Derwent Water and got back into Braithwaite in time for ice creams at 3.30.
Altogether eight and a half miles and 1300 ft of ascent. It was sunny throughout and the views were superb.
No fells summitted or hauses crested and we still climbed 1300 feet.
