Sunset in the East

One day of the year I’m not particularly fond of. Oh, well. It is what it is.

On the other hand, it’s the second year of celebrating the new federal holiday, Juneteenth. Most people need to be educated about this holiday. Other than federal agencies, nothing is going to be closed on Monday. I have a doctor appointment and it really pisses me off…as if Anglo America couldn’t care less about the end of slavery in this country. It’s just as important as Black Independence Day as Independence Day for WASPS.
