Sculpture Trail
It transpires that Harlow has a fab collection of sculpture including works by Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Elizabeth Drink and even a Rodin. All this is scattered around the town and the fun is taking a map and tracking down some of the items. And there are still several of the mid-50's buildings which have survived redevelopment.
Plus, there is the Gibberd gallery (named after the designer of the new town) which includes some gems by British artists from the post war period.
Oh, and Rik Mayall lived nearby and has his portrait on the outside wall of the theatre. Over there on the left.
Worth returning.
