hosepipe and trampoline

I awoke early to texts from the upstairs builders and soon enough the cellar builders were knocking at the door. We’re settling into the rhythm of loud drilling and swimming in dust (or moving it around the house in futile attempts to clean). So Isaac and I decided to pack a picnic and get out as soon as we’d shopped (Isaac insists on the treat of shopping at Lidl - he has less than exotic tastes).

We enjoyed the park, a picnic, play dough at N and G’s, Janet’s garden and then eventually we went home. The children always beg for me to spray the hose at them on the trampoline at the merest hint of sunshine. Ant amused us by blasting out an accompanying playlist: “Jet” featured heavily.

Gratefuls:

1. Answered prayer;
2. Sunshine in the park with Nanny and Grandad;
3. Lots of lovely chats with the children.
