...and another wet day!

The sun and clear blue skis at the end of yesterday gave a glimmer of hope that we had turned the weather corner. Full of enthusiasm we were up and out soon after 8.30 to play the 9 hole Benbecular golf course.  Sadly by the 5th hole the rain had returned, and by the end we and our kit were drenched. Changed into dry clothes, and onto a lovely sandy beach , but no let up in the rain scuttled any chance of a walk. Next stop on the itinerary was a cafe I'd researched....Web site said it should be open.....but it wasn't.  (Just to mention we'd also gone to 2 cashpoints to get cash to top up  funds as we'd put cash in the golf club honesty box....both out of order!)  . Scotland is not putting its best foot forward!

The rain is testing us now, and others we have talked to as we travel between sites can't believe how unlucky we have been.
