Raynox DCR-250

Raynox DCR-250. 

Catching up with jobs this morning after being away for 10 days and then at lunch time my 'new toy' arrived - A Raynox DCR-250 Macros Conversion Lens. I have had the opportunity to use this lens on the Fuji X100V last week having borrowed it from Ann for a day.

Today I stuck it on the canon 50mm f/1.4 and popped a few off in the garden. 

I did spend quite a few minutes photographing the 'bees' and every time I just got a view of their bottom. 

Magnification about 50% (ie less than 1:1) but it does allow a much closer subject to camera distance. 

More fun to be had.
