Mumeee! Dadeee!

This young blackbird was calling for its parents from the same branch of an ash tree in the garden all afternoon. I became concerned as there was no sign of them and it must have been hungry and thirsty. I grated some cheese and put it on a plate on top of the high hedge. Shortly after that all was quiet. I'm guessing/hoping that they were reunited.
