A Little Diversion

Biddulph Grange has a magnificent, quirky garden, with Chinese pagodas, a spooky Egyptian temple and a feature called. a stumpery, which features .... stumps. You can buy some stumps in the plant sales area, if you fancy to make your own stumpery. Prices start at £100 per stump.

This terrace was planted with old roses. In the midday heat the scent was ravishing.

We couldn't stay long, but I hope we'll find our way back here again.
