Wedding

The optional theme of today's Mono Monday challenge is "Weddings". Plural. I have been thinking some time, but other than the nearest shop for (beautiful) bride's dresses, not many weddings here, on a Monday. The beautiful brides are here visible, nearly 100% of all weddings, on Saturday.

But I know of a wedding, long time ago, that played a major role in my life: my own wedding. These rings are the sign for us and anyone else that we were brave enough to take that step, and then never moved away from that little word "yes".

The rings have scars, life isn't harmless. But worn with pride.
