Tragedy

We were returning from our walk & noticed something on the road, sadly it was a dead Pine Marten, worse still a lactating female. Michael moved it to the ditch. It happened between 11 am when we went out & 2 pm when we were returning. Later he went looking to see if he could find the kit/s it obviously has, but it is probably like looking for a needle in a haystack.
We have been hoping to see Pine Marten in that area, but not killed on the road.
