Chargrilled

My Father’s Day meal was postponed until today as our son was returning from Madrid due in just after midnight this morning. As his flight was delayed 90 minutes, by the time he got home and we unwound and chatted the sun was on the verge of rising.

So a quiet day. After a shop, I enjoyed the garden and the sunshine with a BBQ at the end of the day. Chicken marinaded in lemon, garlic and thyme with these grilled vegetables. Followed by raspberries and strawberries, including some of our own strawberries which are starting to ripen. Plus a glass or two.

An enjoyable Father’s Day +1 .
