Monday

This morning, AW brought Don Quixote, or the Donkey, to the garage for an emergency check.  Of the four spark plugs, only two were functioning!  The broken ones will be speedily replaced.  AW was given a car to drive himself home with and the Donkey should be done by tomorrow.  Good thing, too, as he had to drive himself to Monday evening live bridge this time, Beau having had to return from elsewhere and driving straight to the game from there.

The rest of the day was as usual, with supermarket errands in the afternoon.  Beautifully sunny the whole time!  Unfortunately for this Friday, when my guest arrives, 90% chance of rain has been predicted.  I'll have to see where we can go, but certainly not to where I was looking forward to driving her.  That said, one never knows.
