Shortest day, longest shadow

My 3.30pm shadow on the shortest day of the year. I'm so glad that longer daylight will start to creep back.

In just a couple of weeks I'll notice a difference. It takes longer for the temperature to warm up. I'm approaching my cold temperature limit on the bike. I'll skip tomorrow's frost and ice.
