Wet!

After the heat of yesterday, the temperature dropped rapidly, by almost 20°C as we drove to a village just outside Cambridge to help my longest standing friend celebrate her platinum birthday.  She believed that we were only going out for a curry whereas in fact a surprise party had been laid on for her at a nearby pub!  A number of us were in on the secret and frankly we were relieved when it all went off without a hitch.  On the taxi ride home the heavens opened as you see here: good for the garden but not so good for my hair!
