In search of butterflies

I decided to go to the Walled Garden at Shugborough Hall. 

Glorious sunshine.
Beautiful healthy flowers.
Normally lots of butterflies.

Not today.
This was one of four Small Tortoiseshells in the Sweet William bed.
There was one Red Admiral near the potatoes.

That was all.

Extra - I did see one butterfly as I had a snack back home in my garden.
