A, E and I are planning a family holiday. So far, we’ve decided on a road trip to Canberra. Destination and activities are supposed to be a surprise for J for his birthday. However, given four-year-olds* are not particularly skilled at keeping secrets, I think it’s safe to say they won’t be a surprise by the time we’re ready to leave…

*and six-year-olds for that matter, although, in A’s case, I think it’s be less likely that she’d tell, and more likely that she’d want to write everything down but then leave her notes out where everyone could see them…
