Sheepfold #14

There are 16 small Andy Goldsworthy boulder sheepfolds on Fell Foot Road near Casterton.  He calls them Drove Stone Folds; they are all on an old drovers road. This boulder must have come from somewhere near water given the marks and we wondered how on earth AG got all the materials to the site. One had a geocache in ( extra) most of the others in a collage also in extras but it was a case of " seen one , seen them all".
Goldsworthy started the project in 1996 for the Millennium with the idea of creating the largest outdoor art project in the world. There are 46 in Cumbria.
