Lard

I wanted to make some homemade bird feeders about three weeks ago but a key ingredient 'lard' seemed difficult to come by.

Tesco's in Saffron Walden had discontinued the line when I asked at the beginning of the month but Martin managed to get some in Sainsbury's Haverhill last weekend (make of that what you will).

It's a hot day so I'm leaving them overnight in the fridge.  Looking forward to seeing what the birds make of them tomorrow.
