Just a short one today

After the very long walk of yesterday we’ve only done a short one today - 3.6 miles. We walked to MacGregor’s Cave. The clan MacGregor hid there from the English Redcoats. Since those times the Victorians have added a window and door.

It’s a lovely walk with stunning views.

Once we’d viewed the cave we walked further on and my boot got stuck in a bog. HtP had to help me out.

To get to the cave we have to cross over the stream in the extra. In the extra there is also a collage of the many faces of HtP. He loves streams.

We are now back at the lodge watching the stunning view through the window.
