Sophie’s Got Soul

This morning’s golf round was a pretty close affair  and the course was looking good in the sun. As so often of late, I managed to play well for most of the round and spoilt it by really messing up 2 or 3.

When we picked Sophie up from school she was very excited by the fact that they had been marking International Music Day with music related activities, including listening to some classic soul music (James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Kool & the Gang). She’d remembered all the bands and the songs they’d listened to and insisted on Alexa playing them to us.
