The Harbour at Crail
It’s been another pleasant day of moseying about the coastal villages of the East Neuk. And another day when the weather exceeded expectations - dry and about 18C. In fact if I had to choose between hot or cool I would choose cool every time.
We have been surprised how quiet it is here. Often there has just been us, the seagulls and the cormorants on the beach.
We found a pleasant cafe in Dysart for lunch and another in Crail for afternoon tea where I had a rather scrumptious zucchini and lime cake. Mr Flossmo stuck with a more conventional slice of carrot cake.
Train strikes and airport chaos seem a million miles away.
