Finally

After two aborted attempts, PENUS5 (THE best randomly generated flight reference ever) happened. It was supposed to be a week in Barbados in 2020 (island shut), then a week in Lanzarote in 2021 ( island open, hotel shut) and finally a week in Portugal (all seemingly open so far). Not helped by a cancelled then rerouted flight and a train strike . Or a missing taxi at the other end

After 12 hrs of travelling, ridiculous for a flight less than three hours long, we finally arrived. And it's as good as I remembered it from about five years ago. But with a better room.

No.1 is in charge at home. Kitty Boys will not be happy, they are used to breakfast at 0600 (0500 this morning was met with disgust). No. 1 may be on her way home at that point....
