A Type of Allium...

...growing in my yard, and it spread a lot further this year. My poor cosmos are all looking wilted, as I forgot to water them yesterday in all that heat. It was even worse today--we hit a high of 98 degrees, so I felt wilted too, just being outside to give them some much needed water. If it was this hot near the lake I can't imagine how much worse it was further inland. Thank goodness it wasn't humid as well. I ran a few errands today but mostly staying inside in the A/C.  :)
