Lamp.

My sister decided that she didn't want to take this lamp back to the UK, she she gave it to Alexandra. But she hasn't got the space for it at the moment, so I'm looking after it for the time being, or I might just have to keep it, as I rather like it.

Today is St. George's Day, the patron saint of England, but nobody seems to remember him anymore. There isn't even a public holiday for him. I think that's a shame. After all the Welsh remember St. David's Day, the Scots St Andrew's Day, and the Irish St. Patrick's Day, so I think it's about time the English did more for St. George.

There's me saying all that and I don't even live there anymore!!
