Spruced up bike basket

Inspired by cyclists that I'd seen in Amsterdam, I've been decorating the wicker bike basket that is on the front of my classic Pashley bike with artificial flowers for the past couple of years.

The flowers that you see if you click on the above link have got a bit tatty and needed renewing so at the weekend I had a rummage around the market for some odds and sods to replace them. I managed to salvage one or two of the old flowers, one of which you can see here, and the result is quite dazzling. Purple and pink features very strongly.
