Home, preparing to leave again

Nienke and I returned from Scotland yesterday. It was a great trip and it was nice spending some time with the two of us. I sometimes can’t believe she is an adult now, ready to start her college years.

Today I worked, getting a software change ready and tonight it went live. That’s always a satisfying moment, especially if it took a lot of effort like this one.

At night, I started preparing for the next trip: I’m going to Iceland as a photographer/travel guide. I’ll leave on Thursday.
