At the Lake….

We had a very heavy frost early this morning. It took ages for the day to warm up. Maisie and I went walking late morning for a change. I drove to the Taylor Dam and we followed the tracks around a park-like area to the south of the lake. We circled around and finished by walking lakeside. I put Maisie on her leash when near the lake. There are lots of black swans and other birdlife which must not be disturbed. In this image, the far side of the lake is inhabited by hundreds of black-back seagulls. They sit on the lake’s surface waiting for easy meals when suitable food is being dumped at the nearby landfill.
