New toy . . .

I finally took the plunge and treated myself to a road bike. Being the big kid that I am, arriving back home late after a transatlantic flight the first thing I did was rip the box open and assemble it. 

The first proper ride was today, and it was an immense feeling of speed and smoothness. Looking forward to stretching my legs out on it and planning some tours.
