Tangled
This tangled mess is the contents of the bag of wool and needles I used to use to try to teach some of my pupils to knit. We had afternoons 'off timetable' which were called 'activity afternoons'. Their purpose was to encourage pupils to try a completely new activity. Knitting wasn't always the most popular choice compared to things like 'computer animation' and the many sporting options but we would usually get about 20 little girls (we once had a year 11 boy but that's a complete story on its own!!) all eager to take up needles. I'm not sure we ended up with any converts to the art of knitting but we always did what it says on the label, had 'fun'.
