Cinnabar caterpillar

I was up and out by 7.30 a.m. for a walk around the wood, amd a bit of trespassing.  A couple of people out walking their dogs.  Still not much in the way of butterflies but the cinnabar caterpillars are happily munching their way through the ragwort.  I also spied a bee orchid lurking close-by.

Out with camera club this evening at a local garden, so there should be lots of photo opportunities, particularly with the weather being so lovely and warm,
