Poppies

For some years my wife has been trying to grow poppies in our borders using transplants from our neighbours garden where they grow abundantly.. However for some reason they never seemed to take and wilted away. More recently she has at last had more success, hence this blip. Whilst they are really attractive in full bloom I also find the heads make are really strong graphic image when the petals fall away.
