Mrs. Oriole at the Spa

We have so many gorgeous orioles this summer. Two brilliant orange males, a pale yellow, younger male and two females. We have outwitted the squirrels so far and the orioles are gorging themselves on grape jelly and oranges without squirrel interference..

In the Extras you can see Jenny Wren with a rather unattractive white, freshly molted earwig. I had to look them up to discover that this white insect is indeed an earwig(yuck). Also two other little birdies visited quickly jumping for tiny pears on the old tree and squinting(Nora) in the sun. Also, Mrs. Oriole's lovely rump!

For the Record,
This day came in sunny, breezy and just perfect. I walked around the yard with my hiking sticks, up and down the driveway and the path in the woods.
