Baby Face

After visiting the chiropractor for my standard 6-8 week appointment we stopped by the grocery store to pick up mostly fruit and veggies to carry us through the weekend. Yes, I updated my chalkboard after everything was put away! • It’s a beautiful day here. Sunny, breezy, near 70F degrees. A Goldilocks kind of day. Not too hot, Not too cold, but Just Right :) • So many birds diving and flying around the yard this afternoon, many in pairs. I think it’s because so many fledglings are around. They are so cute but also pitifully needy. This baby jay would have been well hidden if not for a ray of sunshine catching his feathers. He mostly kept his eyes to the sky in search of Mama or Papa. Puffed, beak open, with a full body lean to one side was his pose for attention. It didn’t work. Neither parent stopped by to feed him. Sad Baby eventually left to pose in a different tree • I got to see a downy woodpecker and chickadee fledglings too, but both escorted by a parent • Peace & Love
