Poppies by the compost bins

These poppies have just appeared in front of our five compost bins and are probably one of the many generations of Shirley Poppies we have grown elsewhere in the garden.  Some people might think that five compost bins. is a bit excessive but we have no trouble filling them up.  Even in the winter we add horse manure and leaves to the kitchen waste.
