Another day, another concert

We saw the Eagles tonight at Murrayfield with Deacon Frey as a guest performer. They were fabulous and played a wonderful set list. But for a wee while earlier it looked as if we’d have to give up our tickets as Phin wasn’t too well this morning. Well he seemed ok when I dropped him at daycare where he was due to stay overnight but I was just out of the shower prior to heading into town for my (much needed hair appointment) when I got a call to say they thought there was blood in his poop and could we collect him.

Quick call to the vet to get advice and appointment duly booked for 11.45 and we collected a very bouncy looking dog from daycare. He did sleep all morning until we took him to the vets which isn’t really like him. Vet reckons there’s a nasty virus going around and his tummy was a bit sensitive when she prodded him so gave him an anti sickness jab and sent us away with a probiotic paste and instructions for a bland diet. So chicken purchased on the way home and duly boiled and he’s had 3 small bowls of chicken and rice and looks very pleased with himself.

Miss PHL came to the rescue and agreed to come out to watch him whilst we went to the concert and my lovely hairdresser was very understanding and I have a rescheduled appointment for Saturday lunchtime.

Phin is still sleepy tonight so there’s obviously something going on in his system, my poor lad.
