This is a picture in my daughter’s flat. One of her carers did it for her! I spent most of the day with her today, this morning pleasure then a ‘medical emergency’this evening. At 8:10 pm 999 was called and she was ‘category 1’ for next available ambulance . The ambulance came at 10:30 pm. The paramedics were, as ever brilliant and thankfully reassurance and basic tests concluded emergency over! We were so thankful but concerned that had the outcome been different, those 2 hours and 20 minutes waiting could have culminated in a less than happy end to an evening!
The crisis in Health and Social Care is real :( :( . Where will it end ????
