Cornflowers

These cornflowers were looking particularly lovely by my allotment this afternoon.
I had an appointment with my chiropodist in the morning and then off to the Paper Mill in Lasswade for lunch with my ex colleagues from Jewel & Esk Valley college (now Edinburgh College). We’re all retired now bar one. After a Lidl shop, I stopped off to water and check on our allotment before watching the Beltane riders fording the river this evening. All back to ours for hot chocolate and Mr P’s homemade banana bread.
